Title: Remington Spartan SPR 220
Post by: Wheels on August 24, 2013, 09:11:37 AM
Has anyone here had any experience working on the Remington SPR 220 SXS shotguns?  They don't stay open all the way similar to Stevens/Savage guns.

The Remington Spartans are Baikals, so any information on the Baikal applies to the Remington.  There is a kit sold by a shooter that fixes the opening problem.  It consists of new cocking levers.  I can't remember his name right now and he doesn't have a website.  Hopefully, someone will remember his name and email address.   Here is one article on the Baikal.  You can do a web search and find more as quite a bit has been written on smoothing them up.
