Unless I am miss reading something...

You've got a 35 caliber wildcat, which one?  What's the load?

Any range results yet?

Keep us posted and good luck.

Oh No  :o ... a typo on my part ... it's a 25-35 liner

Loaded now with smokeless for gallery matches:
CCI SR primer
5.0gr Unique
Meister 25-20 85GR .258 RNFP
Neck tension - 0.002
Going to the range this weekend or next week for it's Maiden Firing!
(50-100 and 200yds)
Later on ... will see how they fly with black powder

Andrew, the vernier on this one was mounted directly to the wood of butt stock wrist.  Inlet some wood to make a channel and then screw it on.  Careful inletting will minimize the amount of shim needed to make the sight vertical and horizontal to the bore axis
